**iQOO 15 Launch Timeline Tipped; Expected to Feature 2K Samsung AMOLED Display and Dedicated Gaming Chip**
The iQOO 15 is reportedly in development as the successor to last year’s iQOO 13. While Vivo’s sub-brand has yet to confirm an official launch date, a new leak from China suggests the flagship could debut as early as October. Alongside the standard model, iQOO is also expected to launch a Pro or Ultra variant in the same series.
iQOO 15: Expected Launch Timeline and Key Features
A known Chinese tipster, Smart Pikachu, revealed on Weibo that the iQOO 15 will likely launch in October in China. According to the leak, the phone will sport a 2K Samsung AMOLED display, aligning with iQOO's tradition of offering high-end screens on its flagship devices.
The device is also expected to be one of the first smartphones powered by Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 SoC, which is set to be officially announced next month. Additionally, the iQOO 15 is tipped to feature the brand’s self-developed gaming chip, continuing the focus on gaming performance.

Interestingly, the same leak also hints at another flagship launching in October — this time from Realme. While the tipster didn’t name the device directly, it’s believed to be part of the Realme GT 8 or GT 8 Pro series. The upcoming Realme flagship is said to feature a 200-megapixel telephoto periscope camera, further emphasizing the growing competition in the premium smartphone segment.
iQOO 15: Expected Specifications
Previous leaks suggest the iQOO 15 will be equipped with a 6.85-inch AMOLED display and may include a 7,000mAh battery with support for 100W wired fast charging. The camera setup is rumored to include a triple 50-megapixel rear camera system, potentially featuring a periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom.
Additional features may include an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor and up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage, although these details remain unconfirmed.
To recall, the iQOO 13 launched in China in October 2024 and arrived in India in December, priced at Rs. 54,999 for the base 12GB + 256GB variant. It featured a 6.82-inch 2K LTPO AMOLED display, Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, and a triple 50-megapixel rear camera setup, along with a 6,000mAh battery and 120W fast charging.
With the iQOO 15 series shaping up to be a strong upgrade, more details are expected to surface in the coming weeks as Qualcomm announces its new flagship chipset.
